Growing up with childhood liver disease

Information for parents and carers

These leaflets are written for parents/carers of young people who have a liver condition. The leaflets look at some thoughts about a parent’s journey from the point of diagnosis, through supporting your child as they grow up, start school, move to adult services and eventually fly the nest.

Information for young people

This is a series of leaflets written for young people with a liver condition aged 11+. There's lots of information on these topics already available to you - and we'll show where you can find it, if you haven't done so already - but this stuff will give you information which relates to your liver.

The ‘Choices and Decisions’ series covers things like smoking, alcohol, drugs, tattoos and piercing, medicines and hygiene.

There’s also a Sexual Health series with leaflets on safer sex, pregnancy and fertility, puberty and contraception.
