Lansons Communications In April 2008 Lansons Communications chose CLDF as its charity of the year. In September 2009 Catherine Arkley was presented with a cheque for £12,000 by the company's charity team.
Committee member Charli Scouller, proposed Children’s Liver Disease Foundation because her cousin died at just nine months' old from biliary atresia. Charli said: “We had great fun raising the money. Lansons is keen for us to be as creative as possible and we got stuck in! The events we organised included Wii-mbledon, Adidas 5k run, Halloween pumpkin competition, O-wii-mpics, Christmas Fair, Blind date, London Marathon and a Rock band tournament.”
Catherine Arkley said: “We are extremely proud that Lansons Communications chose CLDF as its charity of the year. It’s been great to hear about all the activities they’ve organised. Lansons is all about communicating effectively so we have decided that it would be most appropriate to use the money raised towards the cost developing CLDF’s new website.
"Times have been very hard for CLDF. Knowing that Lanson had chosen us as its charity for the year meant that we had some degree of certainty within our planning and that has been hugely important. Lansons has made a difference to the lives of many families all over the UK through its support. On behalf of everyone at CLDF and all the families and young people, thank you Lansons.”
