Study Days

Update - June 2010

The study day programme has been in existence for some ten + years. It has been developed over the period, refining learning objectives, incorporating new elements and different learning styles/techniques.

The aims of the study day are:

  1. To inform community healthcare professionals about prolonged jaundice in the neonate and the action to be taken including the signs of paediatric liver disease.
  2. To provide more information on childhood liver disease, of particular use to those community healthcare professionals who have a client with liver disease.
  3. To inform community healthcare professionals about the work and role of CLDF.

The days have been well received. However, CLDF recognises that it needs to explore new ways to deliver these educational packages. The programme has now been suspended and new products are under development.
