We hope that whilst on holiday your child will not need any medical attention but it is important that sufficient insurance cover is in place just in case. This is particularly important if you are travelling to a country where medical costs are high. We know that finding comprehensive travel insurance protection for babies, children and young people living with a medical condition, such as liver disease, can often be difficult. CLDF is therefore happy to introduce Unique, a specialist travel insurance scheme which provides comprehensive cover for those affected by pre-existing medical conditions such as childhood liver disease.
