A beautiful way to commemorate India’s liver transplant anniversary

By October 16, 2018 No Comments

One of our lovely families has taken a step further to commemorate their daughter’s liver transplant journey with a cartoon strip dedicated to India and the journey the family had to take to go through this process. We are aware this story can relate to so many families affected by childhood liver disease and we really wanted to share this lovely story with you all.

When India’s parents, Richard and Claire, wanted to do something special to commemorate her ‘liverversary’ they commissioned this fantastic watercolour from artist Neil Slorance, whose cartoons are a regular feature in the Sunday Herald.

India’s parents feel Neil has done a great job of capturing an emotional and personal story in a unique way. We completely agree. Well done Neil and thank you Richard and Claire for sharing this with us.
