After a break of two years we were delighted to be able to bring ten young people away on CLDF Breakaway last week.
It was wonderful to get back to real -life activities and to see our young people having fun together, particularly those who had not been able to take part in trips like this before.
“Whether it was building shelters, making food, joining in campsite games or tackling the high ropes, all our young people joined in with great enthusiasm and were incredibly supportive of each other,” said Head of Support, Michelle.
“We’re currently gathering in feedback but we’re hopeful this has been a really positive experience for everyone who took part.”
We’ll hear more from some of the young people who took part in Breakaway over the next few weeks but for now let’s celebrate the fact that real life events are back!
