CLDF has expressed concern at the results of Bristol University’s Children of the 90s study, which revealed that 1 in 5 young adults have fatty liver disease.
“To see these results in 24-year olds is worrying” said CLDF Chief Executive, Alison Taylor. “It’s vital that steps are taken on a national level to combat this trend or the already limited resources available to treat young adults with childhood liver disease will be squeezed further.”
