CLDF WEEKENDER 2019

August 9, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - August 11, 2019 @ 10:00 am

£10

The CLDF Weekender is a unique event which is open to 16-24 year olds with a liver condition or who have had a transplant. It’s a great opportunity to come together, connect, learn, share and have fun.

The CLDF Weekender is a chance for those who have attended our Talk, Tell, Transform project over the past 5 years, as well as other 16-24 year olds, to meet up again, celebrate friendships and make new ones as part of our Talk, Tell, Transform Reunion.

CLDF WEEKENDER PROMO on Biteable.

What’s going on?

Join us for a ‘Night at the Movies’ quiz and pizza evening, a selection of workshops throughout the weekend including a talk from a leading expert in youth employment, take your pic out of our music, dance and drama workshops and don’t miss out on our Hawaiian extravaganza party!

Where’s the Weekender held?

University of Derby-Britannia Mill.

The event will be run by CLDF staff and volunteers, as well as trained nurses who will be on hand to administer medication to under 18s.

The Weekender begins with registration on Friday at 4-6pm and will run until 12pm on Sunday, although you are welcome to join us for one day, two days or the whole event!

* Don’t let cost be a barrier
As a child centred charity CLDF ensures that its services are accessible to all. Costs should not be a barrier to accessing any of our services. Deposit waiving and occasional support with travel for families/young people genuinely unable to meet these costs will always be considered. Please get in touch with our Head of Support if you would like to discuss this further – Tel: 0121 212 6009 or Email: headsupport@childliverdisease.org

The CLDF Weekender is kindly supported by Global’s Make Some Noise
