Gabriella is such a devoted godmother to two year old Eva, who has PFIC, that she organised a fundraising fun day to support her.
“It was a lot of work but great fun”, says Gabriella. “We had all ages from toddlers to grandparents and numerous puppies too! The local community in Sale and Manchester were really generous at donating raffle prizes, and Eva’s dad, Justin, agreed to have his hair shaved off. In fact, Mark who shaved Justin’s head, challenged him to keep the little bit of hair at the back for an extra £10 a day. He kept it for ten days and raised an extra £100!
“Everyone really enjoyed themselves and it was fantastic to know that we raised money for two charities which mean so much to our family – PFIC Advocacy and Resource and CLDF. I’m proud to be Eva’s godmother and delighted to have done something so positive for her.”
Gabriella’s fun day raised a fantastic £1200 for CLDF which will help ensure we can continue to be there for families like Eva’s. What a special godmother you are Gabriella.
