Fundraising dinner offers unique experience for lovers of fine food

Food lovers are being offered the chance to join in a unique evening of fabulous food and fine wine at the Chefs’ Gala Dinner, taking place at London’s Jumeirah Carlton Tower hotel on Monday March 18.The event, which takes place every two years in aid of Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, is usually only available to corporate buyers but this year the charity is making tickets available in pairs or small groups.The four-course dinner in five-star surroundings is certainly something out of the ordinary.

After a champagne reception, guests will be welcomed to the hotel’s magnificent ballroom by Gregg Wallace, of BBC’s MasterChef to enjoy a menu which has been created and supervised by Michelin starred chefs Simon Hulstone, Shay Cooper, John Campbell, and Claire Clark MBE who has twice been named Pastry Chef of the Year.

And for each of these courses, guests are joined at their table by a different renowned chef, offering a ‘behind the scenes’ glimpse into the country’s top kitchens. Amongst those already confirmed for the event are chefs from  – The Berkeley, the Dorchester and Fortnum and Mason.The meal is followed by a celebrity auction presided over by Charles Hanson of BBC’s Bargain Hunt, giving the opportunity to bid for ‘money can’t buy’ experiences.
