Has your child had the flu vaccination?

By December 5, 2018 No Comments

Did you know that if your child is aged six months or over and has a long term health condition they should receive a free flu jab?

If your child is immunosuppressed, either due to transplant or their treatment, they could still have inactivated vaccines and should take advice from their consultant before having live vaccines.

As the flu virus can change from year to year and protection from the vaccine only lasts for one flu season, those with chronic liver disease should have the vaccine each year to ensure that they are protected. Help protect them from #flu
