Hi Graham, it’s lovely to hear from you. We hope you are well and happy? We often think about you. You were a fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring support to our family while Beth was so very ill and we were going through such a traumatic time. Until we got to the Liver Unit at Birmingham and met you and the rest of the fabulous team, we were totally clueless about what Beth was going through and how best to help her. Everything seemed hopeless to us then but now, fortunately 31 years later we hope Beth’s story might help others.

Well done to Beth and her family and it is lovely to hear how well she is doing.
My son had a similar start but fortunately his kasai at 7 weeks worked and his own liver kept doing the job until he was 23 and got a new liver.
Be proud of your scars my son is. Without them we wouldn’t have him xx
