Birmingham businesses will be able to find out why they should be joining in with Big Yellow Friday, the annual fundraiser for Children’s Liver Disease Foundation at an afternoon reception at the Lost & Found in Birmingham city centre on February 12.
At the event, which will be attended by the Lord Mayor, Councillor Yvonne Mosquito, members of the business community can meet staff from the Birmingham based charity which operates throughout the UK, and find out how easy it is to get involved in Big Yellow Friday.
“We know that many businesses like to support a local charity but obviously they want to know what’s involved and how that money would be spent,” commented Alison Taylor, Chief Executive of Children’s Liver Disease Foundation. “Although we are one of the few charities based in the city centre, most companies know very little about us. This is an opportunity for the business community to find out how they can support a unique, locally based cause in a fun and easy way. And, of course, it will be a great networking event in a fabulous venue!”
The Big Yellow Friday reception will take place at the Lost & Found, Bennetts Hill, Birmingham City Centre on Tuesday February 12 from 4 – 7pm.To confirm attendance or for further information please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
