Millie shares her Talk, Tell, Transform experience

By January 29, 2019 No Comments

Millie shares her experience on Talk, Tell, Transform (TTT), telling us how attending helped her, what she learned and what advice she would give to other young people who are considering attending.

Why did you attend TTT 2018?

I attended TTT because I had seen the previous year’s videos and thought that it was something that I would like to do. I also saw it as an opportunity to meet new people and make new friendships with other young people who had been through similar things to me.

What did you get from attending TTT 2018?

From attending TTT I gained confidence in sharing my story with others, as well as gaining new lifelong friendships

What did you most enjoy about the residential?

I enjoyed listening to everyone’s story and the experience they had growing up and living with liver disease. I also enjoyed filming as it was a fun experience.

What would be good advice for someone who is thinking of attending TTT 2019.

My advice to anyone wanting to attend TTT 2019 would be to start thinking about your story and what that might include because even though you might think that you don’t have a story, everyone does.
