Today is #NationalSiblingsDay! In 2018 Rare Disease UK asked children, young people and siblings affected by rare diseases about their experience of living with a rare condition. Their report found that siblings understand a great deal about their brother or sister’s care and develop skills in empathy and compassion, despite facing challenges.
We at CLDF are lucky to meet many siblings at our events throughout the year and we would echo that view completely..
We would like to ask parents, carers and family members to share with us how siblings in their family are affected by childhood liver disease and any special stories they would like to tell.
Or perhaps you are a sibling and would like to tell your story, we would love to hear from you!
If you are interested, please contact press@childliverdisease.org.
We look forward to hearing from you!
