Due to the fact childhood liver disease is rare, many GPs and community health professionals will only see one or two cases in their career. We feel it is important that your child’s GP has access to our information, which will assist them in their role as your child’s healthcare practitioner.
CLDF GP Practice Pack is developed for you to give to your local surgery informing them about your child’s liver condition.
The pack contains leaflets on problems which can arise from having a liver condition, information on liver transplant, and details of CLDF’s Yellow Alert campaign, which aims to help health professionals recognise the signs of liver disease in new born babies.
