Rebecca Cooper to leave CLDF this summer

Very sadly, CLDF’s Chief Executive, Rebecca Cooper, will be leaving us in August to take up a new role.   Over the course of the last year, Rebecca has focused on income generation, and developing strategic priorities for the charity, in order to plan the development of future services, post pandemic.

Mairi Everard, Chair of the Board of Trustees said: ”We have all greatly enjoyed working with Rebecca since she joined CLDF. She has steered the charity through a challenging time, offering advice to the Trustees, as we have begun to develop a future strategy for CLDF.  The Trustees have appreciated Rebecca’s strategic approach and advice throughout, and she leaves with our best wishes for the future.

“I want to assure young people, families, and colleagues that it will be ‘business as usual’ with CLDF following Rebecca’s resignation. However, the Board wishes to take time to consider carefully how to manage the way forward, with young people and families, as always, the focus of CLDF’s work.  We will keep families up to date, throughout.”
