Sexey’s School in Somerset raised over £1,000 on Big Yellow Friday with a Wear Yellow Day, cake sale and raffle.
This year was the ninth consecutive year the school has taken part in Big Yellow Friday. CLDF is a charity close to the heart of the school as Tilly, the child of two former pupils who met whilst in the Sixth Form, has biliary atresia and received a liver transplant when she was 10 months old.
Since then, the school’s pupils, spurred on by the school’s IT Systems Manager (and Tilly’s proud grandad!) Dave Hill have joined Tilly’s family to raise over £40,000 for CLDF.
