My May Marathon
Your place. Your pace.
The Marathon EVERYONE can complete!
Fancy all the glory of running a marathon, but without the sore feet, intensive training and trip to the city? Then MyMayMarathon is for you! Complete the marathon distance of 26.2 miles over the month of May, get sponsored and help make a difference to the lives of thousands of children and families affected by a childhood liver condition. Your virtual challenge can be completed however you like, and at a place and a pace that’s a challenge to you.
How can I join in?
- Run it
- Walk it
- Cycle it
- Swim it
- Dance it
- Share it
Or all of the above! We’re all in it together. Every penny raised will make a real difference to the lives of thousands of children and families affected by a childhood liver condition.
With 31 days to cover 26 miles we’re looking forward to seeing what you get up to! We think that variety is the key to keeping this fun, so why not try involving your kids, your four-legged friend, a crazy outfit, or try something entirely new for a mile!
You could run a mile a day. Vow to share the distance with your family on a weekend group stroll. Pound the treadmill. Take to the roads on your bicycle. Or swim an incredible 1,686 lengths of your local pool (phew!) We will be there to support you every step of your journey.
As a thank you to our supporters, everyone who raises over £100 will receive a bespoke MyMayMarathon medal!
If you would like to find out more about My May Marathon before signing up, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fundraising doesn’t need to be daunting. Asking just 20 people to sponsor you 20p per mile would raise over £100!
If you choose to fundraise online with Everyday Hero, you can not only gather pledges per mile and one-off donations but can also track your distance throughout the month and share this with your supporters by connecting to the MapMyFitness and Strava Apps.
What your fundraising could fund
Join other #TeamCLDF members on our mission to raise a combined £5,000! This total could fund 20 visits by the CLDF support team to liver clinics in hospitals around the UK, where they meet new families who are facing the life changing diagnosis of a childhood liver condition and provide the emotional support and practical advice at every stage.
It’s completely free to sign up! So take the plunge and challenge yourself to get active and help support families when they need us the most. Fill out the form below to let us know you’d like to join in.
