Online Fundraising Pages

To kick start your fundraising we recommend setting up an online page so you can let people know about your fundraising and give them a quick, easy and secure way to donate. We recommend using JustGiving.

Take a look at our top tips below to help you get the most out of your page

Tell your story

This will help people understand why you’re passionate about raising money for us. It’s your chance to really connect with people and share your story. People will donate more if they know the reason why you’re fundraising.

Add a photo

This will bring your page to life, making it more personal and helping it to stand out. Why not use a picture of you in one of our lovely t-shirts or running vests? If you’re doing the event in aid of a loved one then you could use a picture of the two of you together.

Add a target

Pages with targets raise 46% more than those that don’t. Be brave and let everyone know you’re aiming high.

Share your page on social media

Share the link to your page on Facebook, Twitter and in your Instagram bio. You can also blog about any training or events you’re doing. Remember to tag Children’s Liver Disease Foundation (@tweetCLDF on Twitter) so we can share your hard work. Your friends are more likely to sponsor you when they see all of the effort you’re putting in. Don’t forget to thank them via social media too – you might even get some donations from friends of friends.

The final push

Some people will hold off sponsoring you until the event is over so don’t forget to share your success with all of your friends and family afterwards. In fact, you could increase your fundraising by a massive 20%. Who knows, you might even go above your target!
