Volunteer For Us

CLDF are lucky enough to work with lots of amazing, dedicated supporters across the UK who volunteer their time to help our work.

There are plenty of ways you too can get involved. Fundraising volunteers offer vital support to our fundraising team. From cheering on fundraisers at running events to promoting Big Yellow Friday in your community or taking part in a street collection, there’s something for everyone to get involved with. Being a fundraising volunteer is fun and rewarding so please spare a couple of hours and join our team. There are a range of ways you can get involved as a CLDF fundraising volunteer:

  • Volunteer speaker – perfect for those who are never at a loss for words! Help us raise awareness in your area by doing talks about CLDF and accepting donations on our behalf
  • Community champion – a completely flexible role as you champion CLDF in your local community. Organising bucket collections, attending cheque presentations and managing collection tins are just a few possible ways to be involved
  • Collection tin coordinator – do you know your town like the back of your hand? Popping into local cafes and shops to place new collection tins and manage existing ones is at the heart of this role
  • Research coordinator – stay at home in the warm and use your detective skills to find local events or groups to help us plan our fundraising
