Children’s Liver Disease Foundation is one of 36 health organisations who have joined forces in the ‘Recipe for Change’ campaign, calling on the Government to introduce a new industry levy to make food healthier and raise additional revenues for investment in children’s health.
Whilst the majority of childhood liver conditions are not preventable, Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) now known as Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is and as a children’s charity CLDF is in favour of measures which will improve the health of all children.
