It was a real pleasure to see so many of our families and supporters at the Transplant Games this summer. From the Under Fives, giving their all in archery, long jump and cup stacking, to our amazing swimmers, badminton players and footballers, it makes us so proud to see what our young people have achieved.
Delighted though we are to cheer on medal winners, we know that the real magic of the Games is about families meeting up, having fun and relaxing outside a hospital setting, where everyone understands what it means to go through a liver transplant.
That’s why it was so special to see so many people taking part in the Donor Run and Walk (including our own team!) at beautiful Blenheim Palace – the ultimate celebration of the gift of organ donation.
We hope our families enjoyed the event as much as we did and look forward to seeing you in Sheffield next year!
