CLDF has launched two new information leaflets on Hepatitis B – one aimed at teenagers and another for parents and guardians.
Information and Research Hub Manger, Harpreet Brrang, who has developed the leaflets in conjunction with medical professionals, said: “There is still a large degree of misunderstanding and stigma regarding Hep B so we are delighted that we can now provide leaflets which contain clear information both on the virus itself and its implications for parents and children.
“We are not aware of any other information on Hep B which is specifically aimed at young people so we are particularly pleased that we can make this available. I would particularly like to thank the healthcare professionals at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Leeds and Kings College Hospital for their input into what we see as a valuable new resource.”
