‘RSM sessions’, the annual live music event hosted by audit, tax and consulting specialists, RSM, made a post-pandemic return this year at the multi-award-winning venue, ‘Band on the Wall’ in Manchester.
Following a two-year hiatus, the event brought in 240+ attendees and raised a massive £1,280 for Children’s Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF).
Keith Algie, Restructuring Advisory Director, at RSM, said: ‘We have received information and support from CLDF over the last ten years, since our son Blair was diagnosed with a rare liver condition, requiring a transplant in 2014. CLDF has always been there for us, both emotionally and practically and this money will go towards helping other families navigating the same difficult journey that lies ahead.’
Rebecca Cooper, chief executive of Children’s Liver Disease Foundation added: “We are the only UK charity dedicated to fighting all forms of childhood liver disease and we rely on voluntary donations. The pandemic and subsequent cost of living crisis have led to a drop in income so this donation from RSM is great news and will help ensure that we can continue to be there for those families who really need us.”
