Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) has increased in both adults and children in recent years and is now one of the most common forms of chronic liver disease in children and adolescents.
We’re therefore very pleased to announce that CLDF’s leaflet on this condition has been updated and is now available. The information has primarily been written for parents and carers of children and young people with NAFLD, although young people with the condition and healthcare professionals may also find it useful. The leaflet provides information on the symptoms of NAFLD, diagnosis, treatment and healthy lifestyle and diet tips. You can download a copy or order printed leaflets here.
