Youngsters steal the limelight in Big Yellow Friday fun

We know that times are hard for many people at the moment which makes it even more special to see the effort so many of you went to in order to join in with Big Yellow Friday last week. We thought we’d share a few of your pictures……

Wear Yellow Days were popular in the workplace as demonstrated here by the teams at RWK Goodman and Technical Drive.

Toddler, Zachary, and his mum, Gemma, also went for full on yellow to draw their Guess How Many Ducks sweepstake, which raised a brilliant £300!

Food always makes a good fundraiser,  whether it’s Bake Off standard yellow cake creations, as featured in Phillip’s cake sale in Co Newry, or food in yellow packaging as enjoyed by the  Birmingham Interface team.

Showroom manager, Sophie, who organised Interface’s Wear Yellow and Eat Yellow day is convinced it was the special guest appearance of her niece, Nellie, who helped boost their total to £250!

Another guest star putting in a special appearance  at Big Yellow Friday fundraising  was 18 month old Luna. Her mum, Sophie, persuaded her older children’s school, her dad’s workplace and even her local branch of Primark (where Luna is pictured) to join in, raising a fantastic £1374!

This is just a flavour of the day. Donations and pictures are still coming in and of course we’ll keep you posted. We just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you who supported Big Yellow Friday in any form.

Your efforts mean we can still continue to be there for children and young people who really need us, so a Big Yellow thank you from all of us!
